Although I don’t have enough time to sit there watch every Olympic game, everytime I do watch, I am so glad. I see so many commercials for Chinese businesses being broadcasted on NBC,  I see so many wonderful Chinese athletes being the center of focus along with American athletes, I hear people comment on little stuff they see on the opening ceremony and during the game — as oppose to those emails flying everywhere about the scary Chinese food and bad English translation.   It is so wonderful!

Well, I do wish that the Opening Ceremony was done a little differently. Almost every scene has a big group of people doing synchronized moves. After watching that five times in a row, all you want to say is: wow, China has lots of people, wow they must have lots of training… I understand you’ve got a big stadium to fill but I’d still like to see more creativity and more individual talents instead of using people as pixels in a giant picture.
